Alexandra & Dylan: Married

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Maybe a little nervous here, but …

Once Alexandra was together with Dylan, it all seemed to slip away.

I love this last shot!

Alexandra and Dylan were married this past weekend in a beautiful ceremony in Westerly, Rhode Island. The day started with the girls getting ready on the third floor of a wonderful house down in the Avondale neighborhood, then made their way to Saint Claire’s Church. After the ceremony, we left to take some shots at the beach, right in the heart of Watch Hill. A super fun reception followed with formals at the 11th hole, overlooking the foggy golf course, and of course, plenty of dancing and celebration!

Karima & Jack: Engaged

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

I had a wonderful time last weekend running around the Newport and Jamestown areas with Karima & Jack. We explored the colonial Newport neighborhoods and ended where Karima and Jack had their first date: Beavertail Lighthouse. Thanks so much for hanging out with me – You guys were a lot of fun, and I can’t wait for your wedding!

Kristin & Daryl: Engaged

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

I spent some time recently with Kristin and Daryl in my favorite city in which to photograph: Providence, RI. It might not be obvious at first, but Providence has just about everything you might want in a compact little city. It has a waterfront, old architecture, parks all over the place, a great arts district, and more. All of these things add up to a perfect place to photograph people who are in love. Kristin and Daryl are two fellow Providence lovers and wanted to pay tribute to the city by having their engagement pictures taken at their favorite spots. The above images are just a few of my favorites from the day. Thanks Kristin and Daryl for a great session – I can’t wait for your wedding this summer!

Yana & Dimitry: Married

Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

Yana & Dimitry were married recently in Arlington, Massachusetts at the beautiful Arlington Town Hall. It’s a cool old building with an amazing chamber in which both the ceremony and reception were held. The bride and groom both prepared nearby at an attached mansion also on the Town Hall property. Yana & Dimitry’s wedding was a feast for the senses, rich in cultural elements and beautiful traditions.

Thanks to you both for having me along on such a wonderful day! The pleasure was all mine!
