Corrie & Matt: Engaged

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Corrie and Matt spent some timeĀ  with me last week walking around beautiful East Greenwich, RI while we captured some images to celebrate their engagement. We started in the downtown area, in search of a more urban look, then stopped off at Goddard Park, and finally the beach at the very end of Ives Road. It was a great evening – and I’m really looking forward to photographing their wedding this October! Thanks Corrie & Matt!

Kara & Nick: Engaged

Monday, July 19th, 2010

I had the pleasure of photographing yet another wonderful couple last week – Kara and Nick. Nick is stationed overseas in the military and won’t be back until just before their wedding this November. We spent some time walking around the beautiful grounds of Sakonnet Vineyards in Little Compton, RI – a place Kara and Nick enjoy visiting together. They had live music on the lawn the night we went, it made such an impression that I decided to take my wife there the very next Thursday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After we left the vineyard, we drove down to the Southern-most point in Little Compton to catch the sunset over the water. What a beautiful evening! Thanks to Kara and Nick for being such an in-love couple, you really make my job easy! I’m really looking forward to your wedding this November!

Karima & Jack: Married

Monday, July 5th, 2010

(The above image was taken by my fantastic second shooter, Robyn)

I was down in Montclair, NJ last weekend for Karima and Jack’s wedding. It was held at the Montclair Art Museum which was the perfect place for a wedding celebration. The bride and groom both got ready at the Westminster Hotel nearby. They opted for a quick “first look” where Karima appeared from around the corner, and Jack was able to see her for the first time in her wedding dress. We spent some time exploring the town and making some images with their family and bridal party before the ceremony. The ceremony was wonderful, with Jack and Karima both deciding to write their own vows. The sprinkles holding off until about a minute after it ended. A great celebration followed with dinner and dancing – the kids were even dancing on the stage with the band for much of the evening! Thanks Karima and Jack for giving me the opportunity to share in your day with you!
